She's been home ALL week long because of THE BLACK PLAGUE.
Her Black Plague, which started out minorly and commonly enough (as all children carry all forms of the plague and spread it to one another) but I got a call from her teacher on Monday asking for me to come and pick her up right away ~ she had a fever and her cough was getting really bad. Of course, I panic and take her to the doctor. Get her on meds. Stick her in bed ~ keep the heat up and Adam has been cooking gourmet home remedies non-stop. We've had to keep Ben and Glory away from their sister as well ~ it just blows.
Carol Ann will be fine ~ she just has a weak immune system and the simple viruses like cold and whatever kids get just take FOREVER for her to get over.
It took her over a month to recover from the chicken pox when she was 4. X.x
I blame this shit immune system entirely on THE WOMAN WHO GAVE BIRTH TO HER.
