Inward Scream Live Report Pt. 1 - The Wiltern LG
The Wiltern LG, Friday 23rd
So me, Nicole, and her friend Nessa get there somewhere between 6:30 and
7 that morning.
At that time there were maybe 30 people ahead of us, so we were relatively
close.
THANK GOD SHE BROUGHT BLANKETS.
Jesus fucking Christ it was cold.
And the wind didn't exactly help either.
Nessa was clinging to me for warmth all day.
She even fell asleep in my lap at one point.
^ ^;;
The Denny's connected to the theater became a warm sanctuary for all of
the DEG fans enduring the cold outside.
We made a couple trips over there ourselves.
The second time Nicole gets a call on her cell....
It was Kazuhiro, who we knew from mixi.
Poor Nicole was freaking out trying to find him.
Eventually she did and he joined our group.
^ ^
I only managed to meet Shou, and Lala (YEAH) as far as people from the forums
go....
I wish I could have met more of you, but I think most of you had to wait
until you got out of school?
If that was the case, you must have been pretty far back.
Or you may have seen me, but just didn't know I was me.
I had pink bits in my hair, wore a hoodie with kimono sleeves, a black skirt, and had pink and black striped stockings and white creepers....
I WAS ALSO A FAT CHICK.
YOU MAY NOT HAVE EXPECTED THAT.
(more cushion for the pushin' babe)

YEAH ANYWAY.....
At around 6 we all begin to stand.
The staff makes several failed attempts to get everyone in a single file
line against the wall.
Hard to do with blobs of people.
The whole time we were in line, the number of people ahead of us increased.
At that point, it became over 100.
What made it even worse was the fact that they separated the guys and girls.
So basically, guys from way in the fucking back still got in before we did.
WE WERE PISSED TO SAY THE LEAST.
Finally we are let in....
Most of our group decided to be on Kaoru's side.
Me and Nicole were both on the railing.
Bleed the Dream
Okay.
Not so emo after all.
Pretty good actually.
Fair to Midland
Like Nicole, I also don't understand why people hate on this band.
I genuinely loved them.
Granted, I have a pretty diverse taste in music.
This band was no exception.
I really dug their unique sound.
Darroh's seizures and drooling didn't bother me much.
It's not as though Kyo hasn't done the drooling thing.
However, the seizures were a bit over-the-top and incohesive...
That doesn't change my overall opinion of them though.
Setting up for DEG....
Hawt Roadie is....
ALDFKAJDKFLADALKFJLASEXONABISCUIT.
(I'm just going to go over the things that stood out. I was in this mode
that consisted mostly of screaming, attempting to sing along, oogling Kyo,
going "WOOOO! \(*O*)/ " every time Kaoru and Toshiya stood right in front
of me, and headbanging like a motherfucker. A.K.A, HAVING A GOOD FUCKING
TIME.)

"KILL, KILL, KILL, KILL!"
At this point everyone is feeding off one another's energy....
One by one they come out....
STUFF THAT STOOD OUT:
Kyo's Acapella's
Kyo's voice...
OH MY GOD.
This mix of a creepy yet hauntingly beautiful voice sprang forth from him.
My ears were in heaven.
There were a few fucktards that would shout a random "TOSHIYA!" or "SHINYA!".
But for the most part, people were quiet.

I forget which song it was during...
After Kyo flung his box, he began thrashing around on the floor...
But in this really hilarious way.
He was rolling around like a dork...
It seemed like he was trying to do some kind of fucked up headstand.
I would look over, and see a pair of legs sticking straight up from behind
the thrown box.
IT WAS FUNNY AS HELL.

Nicole thinks that he may have been making fun of Darroh's seizures.
I think I may have to agree with her.

When the concert was ending, Toshiya came over to our side, bent down, AND
TOUCHED OUR HANDS.

My skin contrasted against his....
Big difference.
I'm pretty damn pale though...

All in all...
I really enjoyed this show.
I lost my voice right away, but that show was a blast and totally worth
it.
The Avalon on the other hand.....
