God, it's been forever since I've written in here. After reading everyone else's entries, I decided to actually give this a go.

So. No ring for my birthday yesterday. Actually, as Jen pointed out, that would not have been the greatest time for a proposal, because it's really my holiday and not a mutual holiday. Well, we can rationalize all we want

Hey, it's great to hear from you! Happy belated Birthday! It's such a shame we've lost touch, cuz we had fun hanging out and stuff!

I'm glad things are going well with your man. Things with mine are also incredibly good. Of course, I just signed five years of my life away to grad school (more engineering, yay! ... just kidding), so I really have no chance of getting married til I'm 30. But yay for having all those fun conversations!

I'll have to post pics of my apt in Philadelphia so you can see. It's so cute!
