Feeling rotten.

Today was bad. I got a phone call this morning from the nurse taking care of one of the patients I had yesterday, asking me if we were really allowed to give a certain drug that was ordered for the patient on our floor. Well, I gave it to her once yesterday, assuming it was okay because we use the same drug in PCA form (the patient-controlled ( Read more... )

I read this and it was like reading something I would write. Guess what I did last night? I pushed some D50 before getting a blood sugar because the guy was diaphoretic as hell, barely responsive, and his tongue was just hanging out of his mouth. After the whole thing, I talked to a couple nurses who told me I should have waited and all. Luckily they were very nice about it. Yeah, it does suck. I definitely relate to you with the living in fear .

I actually don't take any antianxiety or antidepressant medication anymore. I went to the ER twice since September with extreme pain in the middle of the night, and they treated me for bladder infections, but after seeing cultures found I had no infection at all.. I just have OAB, and I'm taking Detrol. I don't know whether to blame it on the stress of work or other things.

I did take Celexa 5 years ago when I was depressed, and it really helped me. :)

I hope you're relaxing a bit and enjoying your time off from work! :)
