Hypothetical situation: You have a 4 or 5 year old. Said child without warning throws up in a public place. Do you walk away expecting a janitor to take care of it? Or do you clean it up yourself?

In other news, I orderd graduation announcements today. YAY! Let me know if you want one.

For me, it might depend where I was. In my mind, the facts are this: the child is in my care. Therefore, I'm responsible for the child throwing up. I would try cleaning it up myself and possibly ask for assistance in order to do so, (such as ask a store employee for some paper towels or something).

I would love a graduation announcement!! PLEASE TO SEND ME ONE!!

Yay! Email me your address.

Oh, and I bought a couple different buddhas in India. Just have to get off my lazy ass and send you pics so you can decide which one you want.

It depends on how much cleaning up the child and I need at the time. I would, at minimum, alert the staff at said public place and apologize profusely.

Congratulations!

I would, at minimum, alert the staff at said public place and apologize profusely. You'd think most people would do that. Not so where I work.

Thanks!

That actually happened to me with a 2 or 3 year old. The store clerks were pretty pissed that I "let" that happen. Whatever! Like I said, "this looks good. Puke here." I did my best to clean it up with paper towels, but they really don't work well on carpet.

We'd love an announcement :)
