I have heard of them holding the Grand Tourismo in the rain but, what kind of street racer would want to go threw the troubles of putting racing slicks on there car when they already put out a ton of cash on the street tires with custom rims. well maybe, drifters but, I think maybe drifting might be a little more entertaining in the rain then dry. right?
im not sure, I hae heard of some drift tracks being slicked up but others where they just tune the cars suspension for drifting and leave the track be. In that cause I would think it would still screw them up since they would be over compinsating. And what do you mean by slicks? Slicks would be even worst in the rain because they have no tread ( the tread is the part that channels the water away from the tire to prevent hydroplaning). hows florida? or are you not there anymore?

oh, right on... I figured slicks were made for wet tracks. what kind of tires are made for wet tracks? anywho I am now what they call a "snowbird" south in the winter north in the summer month's. If I do go I will be back in Florida in December. Currently in Traverse City area I spent the summer here.
cool, IM not sure what they use for wet weather probably some weird hydrotrac racing tire or somthing, or maybe they still use slick cause they are professionals and their cool like that...
