Criminal Minds episode "Pleasure Is My Business"
I think my main reaction to "Pleasure Is My Business" is this: Hotch is hot.
Seriously. Hotch is hot. Especially when he's doing any of the following: Watching video of his son, rejecting political BS, calmly reasoning with sociopaths and manipulating their delusions, and holding a serial killer's hand while she dies.
Other shallow aspects: Reid's vest/shirt combos weren't as hot this episode as last episode, but I like the jacket/vest combination. Also, Prentiss and Morgan both look ridiculously hot in bulletproof vests.
I absolutely love how screwed up Megan was. "That's what they told me you liked" when her father hit her? Goddamn.
I kind of want to do a series of fics about the unsubs, but since I already have too many unfinished Criminal Minds fics, I'll just put that thought aside until I finish my Gideon/Reid casefic and my attempt at Gideon/Hotch/Reid. And maybe a Criminal Minds/Watchmen crossover.
What? I like the image of the BAU profiling costumed vigilantes. And the image of Reid growing up with Ozymandias action figures.
I rolled my eyes when she asked how Hotch's wife could ever leave him. Oh, I don't know, maybe it had something to do with the fact that, thanks to his job, he was never around when they had a baby to take care of, and then when he had the opportunity to switch to a job that would let him spend time with his wife and help her take care of their son, and she told him that's what she needed him to do, he refused?
I love Hotch and I know Haley had her flaws, but she had good reasons to be unhappy with that marriage.
Also, Haley bashers do not need any encouragement.
