Matsui Yusei's Status?

Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone knew of Matsui Yusei's current status? I checked the mangaka status spreadsheet here and ANN's list the past few days and his name hasn't been noted

Just ran a quick Google search, I can't seem to find his blog either. :\

I'll keep checking ANN's list, but please let us know if you're able to confirm anything.

Looks like (comments below) someone found a fan stating that they heard he was okay! Hopefully we'll get official word but glad to hear it from somewhere!

I read about sensei's status on a secondary source and it seems that he's okay

Click on memo on the top and the most recent post has this last lime "松井先生と尾田先生もご無事だそうですー！" seems to indicate that Matsui sensei is safe (I used google translate btw, so it'll be a great help if anyone who is fluent in japanese can confirm this)

However since this is a secondary source (from a Japanese fan), it might be better to continue to see if there's any news about sensei's status.

The line read, "I've heard both Matsui and Oda sensei are ok!" (Oda ofc being One Piece's mangaka/creator)

I tried to track down Matsui's site, or blog, or 日記 "diary", even twitter. But nothing. No news since 2009 since his one shot even. :/ That on TOP of the disaster has me worried. I hope his career isn't dead.

The more the merrier! Glad to see more confirmations of his safety, thanks so much for sharing! Interestingly enough, I was told that he was good friends with Kubo Tite too.
