Unexpected Survival

Last night signalled the opening of Midsummer Night's Dream, which was beyond the pale of all of my expectations. The three dress rehearsals at the venue were full of absent players, of distractions, and of a MOIJR who was stressed beyond all imagination. It seemed like it would flop together chaotically, with little of the comedy we have worked
