Character Name: Akazawa Yoshirou
Age: 117
Race: Shadow Elf
Kingdom: Neither officially
Appearance & personality: Dark brown long-ish hair, dark brown eyes and pointy ears. His skin is darker than normal and he's around 189 centimeters tall. Akazawa's canon appearance has changed only by his height and pointy ears. He also has a long scar on his chest after fighting a difficult beast.
The main point on Akazawa's personality is that he's mostly calm and quiet. He doesn't talk much if he doesn't need to, but he has social skills as well. First impression might be "scary" though, since he's mostly quiet and looks apathetic/grumpy, even if he doesn't mean to look like it. It's just how he normally looks, since he doesn't feel the need so smile all the time. He does smile and laugh a lot, so he's not serious all the time. However, his age and experience has made him more serious than he was when he just lived in the capital city.
When said he's mostly calm it doesn't mean "he never gets angry". It's quite the opposite. He has a very fierce temper and he might snap about the smallest of things. Sometimes he might even be upset at someone for days if something doesn't go the way he wants things to go. When he's angry, he's also very reckless and his learned his lesson about that. That's why he usually tries to calm himself right away, especially if there's a risk that he might need to get into a battle. He's completely useless on a battle field if he's angry.
History: Born in Risath, Ugara, to a family of Shadow Elves. His father is a very old-fashioned man, so he married a Shadow elf woman, even if he did not really love her. He wants to "keep his blood pure" and make sure that his children would have his abilities. Yoshirou has never really seen his parents treat each other as lovers. Just a man and a woman, living together, raising two kids. His older brother, Kenji (20-years older), was proud of their family line and wished to continue it the same way, but Yoshirou had always though it was stupid. Even today he doesn't understand why anyone would marry someone he or she doesn't love just to have the right type babies.
After turning twenty, Yoshirou moved to the capital to become a knight. There he was taught how to use a sword and make use of his abilities. His father was proud, but after Kenji married a shadow elf (thankfully, out of love) his attention focused on the older son. Yoshirou was pressured to find himself a wife, but he wasn't interested in marriage or continuing the family line. That's the reason him and his father gradually started ignoring each other. After Yoshirou moved away from home (at age thirty) he stopped receiving messages.
Yoshirou continued serving the kingdom as a knight, doing small missions and killing beasts outside the capitals borders. Life was okay for him, but he felt smothered. His life was normal and boring. He needed a change. That's why after turning fifty he resigned from his position and left Nyper. Even since that day he has been traveling and making a living by helping others. He has been in both of the kingdoms and also in the neutral lands. After thirty years of wandering around he settled down for a while, into South island of Risath. Ten years passed and he left again, unable to settle down for good. It was then when he decided that his services would be mostly needed in Achsler and it's there where he was been traveling ever since.
When Yoshirou was around 94, he was traveling around Achslers woods. There he was awakened in the morning by a very small boy. The boy was Mizuki, who started following Yoshirou like a shadow. At first he wasn't sure what to do, but there was no way he could just leave the boy there. He stated taking care of Mizuki, teaching him what he knew, protecting him from danger. He got attached to the boy easily and even today, he's still traveling with him.
Other information: Akazawa carries two knives and a bow with him. He uses his shadow elf abilities & knives when there's need to be careful and archer skills when he wants to take out things fastly.
