Think I'll post this here in case my computer someday implodes in a vacuum of space-time. It's my "always-wanted-to-watch" list. Feel free to suggest.

My brother was just talking about American Psycho and said it was brilliant. I'll definitely put it on the list! Seen Waking Life twice and felt like a pretentious ahole because everyone in the room was so bored both times and I was captivated.

Thanks for the recs, I will add them as soon as I get on my computer @_@

you haven't seen Shawshank Redemption? that's a really good one--though they used to show it every day on cable so it'a hard to watch now.
Clockwork Orange is depressing but good.
BIG LEBOWSKI!! Awesome fucking movie.
They Shoot Horses, Don't They? Wow I forgot about that movie. I think it was my favorite when I was like 10 for some reason, but it is really good.

Um, if you haven't, you need to watch:
Cool Hand Luke.
Young Frankenstein.
Freeway. (I know, I told you before, but I really like it for some reason).
Dune (David Lynch version).
12 Monkeys.
Amelie.

And seriously, I don't know why anyone would suggest this movie, but if anyone suggests Bong Water, DON'T SEE IT! It's the worst movie in the world!!!

Course I've seen Young Frankenstein. I'm a jew, ain't I?

Also saw Amelie (and own it!) back when I first realized indie kids thought foreign films were cool. It's on the shelf by Run Lola Run which I purchased in NY and also loved.

My mom and bro always talk about 12 Monkeys and use it as an example of how you know Brad Pitt is so good. "He's terrifying in it, so you are not entranced by his hotness." Er... That's more of what my mom says but y'know.

Needless to say I don't know why the hell it's not on my list. Thanks for the recs!

LOL, yes, I just don't know many other Jews so I didn't know it was a required thing ;)

RUN LOLA RUN is amazing.

I can't believe you haven't seen 12 Monkeys! It is fantastic. And your mom is right.

It's true. There's nothing hot about Pitt in 12 Monkeys. He's just freaking insane.

Um, I forgot to add Death Proof!!!
Also if you want to watch something really corny and 80's but pretty interesting for the first half of the movie, and can stand Arnold's ridiculous quotes, watch Total Recall.
