well. i got them off an LJ community. they are not like UBER fantastic songs or anything, but not dodgy either. and i m too lazy to change my playlist, so they have been playing over and over again.
do you believe or do you not that one's choice of songs can be a bit telinng of that person? of course, there's always the risk of taking it too literally.
I know what you mean about not changing the playlist! That's why I'm still listening to what I am.
I do think, in some way, people's choice of music says something about them. Maybe secret desires, hopes, or nostalgia(I know that's why I listen to country music from the late 70's/early 80's).
Oh yes. There was a guy I worked with. I thought he was gay, but didn't know for sure. He seemed very shy. One day though, he loaned me a cd of his favorite songs to listen to. When I heard "Mr. Sandman" by the Chordettes and then "Stand by your Man" by Tammy Wynette....I knew for sure he was. :)
You didn't tag me but I wanna play too!!! 1. Sorry - Madonna 2. Wasted - Carrie Underwood 3. ..... oh wait, my attention span is too short. I'm bored of this already...
1: Tori Amos ~ Professional Widow 2: Spank Rock ~ Put that pussy on me 3: Laurie Anderson ~ Speachless (Astonishing, song of the year!) 4: Kate Bush ~ Pi (Listen to that rhythmic beat!) 5: Madlib ~ Mind fusion Vol 2 6: Dwight Tribble & The Life Force Trio ~ Constellations (Feat Super Nova) (ALBUM OF THE YEAR!) 7: Wayne County and The Electric Chairs ~ Fuck Off (I <3 Punk)
so. someone's professionally a widow who loves his pussy which makes him speechless, some complicated calculation involving 3.141.... later and whhaaaaammmmmm fusion of the mind, and stars!! stars!!! he sees 'em. clean up the mess n feck off. blah blah.

I don't think I've heard any of the songs on your list. I have heard "Rainy Night In Georgia" but by another artist.
:D I like knowing what other's listen to.
