do_come_in has my amazing, eternal awe for taking pictures references in "Red Suede Shoes" and turning those references into REAL PHOTOGRAPHS. How hard core is that? The lighting! The colors! The shoes! Those cookies. Oh my GOD, These pictures are so, utterly, utterly perfect!.
'Dorothy' is for Ashlee's section and was inspired by this line: 'She's wearing red ruby shoes and holding up a sign saying "No place like home, sister."'

'Stiletto Knives' is for Matt's section and was inspired by this line: 'The text from Maja is a picture of a butcher knife and a stiletto.'

'Meeting Paul' is for Maja's section and was inspired by this line: 'Her eyes widen and she reaches for the greasy frying pan that was left in the sink and holds it out like a weapon.'
The suds, look at those SUDS! It's not grayscale I think, other colors gleam at the edges. Recreating this must have been ridiculously complex. Wow.
'Grandma's Cookies' is for Vicky's section and was inspired by this line: '"Gabriel," she calls in a soft voice. "I brought you and your friends cookies." Gabe's grandmother had come for a visit a couple days before and spent most of her free time baking food and trying to feed the Cobras with it.'
HOLY COW, she baked Grandma Saporta's cookies, stole one of Gabe Saporta's plates and did this. *flail*

How SICK is this? Five pictures that are perfect replicas of story events? The sideways sister! The high heeled shoe, the SUDS on that pan, the cute yellow plate, and the excel sheet? Look at that spreadsheet! Those are totally tour cities. Beautiful photography and wow, just, WOW Please, please, please tell her how ridiculously good these are because I can not imagine more perfect pictures if I tried.
