From the time a phone conversation has ended to the time the person on the other end of the line says "Bye." is too long for me, I've discovered.

Am I lacking a certain phone etiquette that says "You must wait 5-7 seconds after the conversation is CLEARLY over with until you can say goodbye."?

Maybe it's simply my impatient personality.
