Mundane question

This is for those of you out there who understand color schemes. I need new bedding but need a suggestion. Here's the deal. My current bedding is gray and purple. I really do like gray bedding especially with the dusky purple that is mixed into it. Based on the bedding, a few years back we painted the room purple. Not bright purple, but a light,
