I log into LJ from my work machine.
Out of a certain caution, mid-browse, I click 'Log out'. LJ enquires whether I would like to log out all sessions, or just this one.
Hrm, thinks I. Eh well. Maybe I left myself logged in session-wise from home, although it defaults to logging out when browser closes. Maybe it's reacting to me having more than one browser window open on screen.
Bit bizarre, but ho-hum. Close the other browswer windows, click 'log out all sessions'. Log in afresh, and re-check the logout screen out of curiosuty. Aha, far better - it only asks about this session now.
A while later, having shut down LJ and later reopened, re-logged in because logging out automaticallly on exit is becoming a habit, I repeat the exercise out of instinct (aka paranoia, perhaps?). Only one browser window open this time round, so definitely not that (althouh IIRC LJ works by computer, not by browswer window anyway)
Log out all sessions?
Oh, colour me unimpressed.
Would any techies round here like to give a reason for this odd behaviour OTHER than a second session being started AFTER I killed old sessions?
'Cause right now, the 'delete journal' button is starting to look attractive.
