A boy: A Girl returns, though forget the drabbles we've stepped up to a full-pledge novel. well, not really.
Chapter One
“What are you doing here?” he asked opening the door to find her on the doorstep, soaked to the bone with that stupid grin on her face. The one that was so pointless and yet all part of her charm
“It’s raining!” chirped the girl taking his dumb folded expression as a sign he wasn’t about to slam the door on her face as she pushed her way into his room
He sighed closing the door behind them, “make your self comfortable” he grumbled as she flashed him a victory sign
“Don’t mind if I do”
Rolling his eyes he left down the hallway to get towels, even though he’d still have to clean up the mess later (as she always brought a tornado with her), the small lake she brought in with her would ruin the varnish on the floors, he thought mine as well lessen it.
Armful of towels he reentered the room to find her standing by the window watching the raindrops hit the window pane in wonder, “Your going to catch a cold if you stay like that” he warned, watching as she shrugged
“It’s beautiful isn’t it?” her question was the barest of whispers that he had to strain his ears to hear. Looking at her and to the downpour of misery she was so set on watching he shook his head
“You’re odd”
“Hm”
“No really it’s not natural” he reasoned as he walked over towel spread out in his hands as he captured her from behind attempting to dry her off before she revolted
“Oi - get off”
“Your ruining my house so the answer is no” his answer was firm, but one look from her eyes. The pleading in the depths that bubbled from within making her request honest and true made him fall back “At least step on it” he moaned in horror for his hard wood floors while laying out a towel for her to do so.
Rolling her eyes she did as told before turning back to her previous activities, frowning as the rain was just a drizzle
“Aw, it’s over!” she whined, bottom lip jutting out in a pouty manner as she glared at her companion accusingly
“Don’t look at me - if you like the rain so much move to England or something”
“But I like the snow too” argued the girl, “And fall - and I can’t forget”
“Your store - yeah, yeah I know.” He grumbled watching a small smile roll onto her chapped lips
“Well glad you understand”
He shook his head while handing a towel over to her, “Here dry off”
With a fleeting glance towards the puddles he saw her hesitation before he drew her attention back to him, cupping her chin firmly so their gazes met
“No”
“But -“
“Every time it rains you get sick, and I usually have to take care of you” his tone held no room for protest as she puffed her cheeks sulkily
“Why can’t you live a little, huh?”
“I’m breathing right now aren’t I?”
“You know that’s not what I meant!” she huffed and shaking his head as he picked up a towel, and ignoring her protest started to dry her off
“I know what you meant and not everyone is two years old like you are”
“I’m 17” she whined too caught up in their verbal war to notice he was indeed treating her like a two year old the way he spun her around running the towel over her body in hopes to salvage what little he could of her already soaping clothes
“You sure don’t act like it” he grumbled as she shot him a dark look
“What was that?”
“Nothing - I’m going to give you some of my clothes for now, seeing these will need to be washed and dried anyhow”
“Oh no, I can just go” she protested but it died as he placed a finger to her mouth
“Forget it, you’ll just sick anyways and I’ll have to take care of you. This way will stop such an issue” he explained missing her blush as he headed back down the hall.
Turning her gaze back to the window, her fingers traced the sliding droplets on the other side of the glass with a sigh.
Somehow things were different this time.
(Phase 01 // complete)
Well I'm back with these two... *frowns* I don't even know who 'these two' are, just two muses I created in order to get over my disgust for the over-rated heterosexual-ists out there. Well normally they're in drabble form (or attempted to be), but one day I just started writing and it came out more like a novel. So here's the random chapters of their lives. though they can still be seen as separately.
Heh, maybe along the way I'll actually give them names. ^^
