Its been a very long time since I've posted anything in here, I still log on every day and read everyone else's updates. I think I'm going to try to write more often, to keep it up. I miss when I posted all the time, so here goes nothing.
Life is good, my sister, Nadine, is living with Travis and I. She moved up here to Tucson to go to the UofA for accounting or something along those lines. She's the type of person that enjoyed taking Statistics classes. Anyway, we moved from our small house in the ghetto (seriously... there was a gang related shooting 2 houses down from us. Two people died and one was in the hospital) to a nice, big, central house. I finally feel like its a home, our old place never felt cozy, it didn't have any personality and it was so ugly. This place is wonderful, its 2000 sqft which is probably more than we really need, but its wonderful to have all of our things go where they should. And my bedroom... I finally have a new bed frame (our old one was only about a foot high, and it broke a week into Travis and I moving in together, since that happened we pretty much slept with the mattress on the ground), its a sleigh bed and its so pretty. I could just stay in it all day long.
It's funny having a roommate after a year of Travis and I living alone together, but Nadine pretty much does her own thing, her boyfriend, Gabe, lives in Tucson too. Every once in a while we'll hang out. We made dinner together tonight. She starts university in a little over a week, and our work/life schedules really don't match up too often.
Travis got me a Kindle for my birthday, he let me open it early since I checked the mail when it came in and the box was clearly labeled, "Kindle." I knew I was getting it anyway, I had asked for one. I love it! I'm currently reading Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn and its pretty good. I'm less than half way done and it's definitely a page turner, I can't quite figure out whats going to happen in in, and I'm usually pretty good at that. I've also purchased Cloud Atlas by David Mitchell, I saw an "extended first look" of the movie adaptation and it looked awesome, and the books are always better than the movie anyway. So that's up next.
Everything's good man. No complaints. Travis is a wonderful man and every day I get to spend with him is a good one, I love him a lot.
So here's to keeping a journal again.
