So, right now I am still unemployed, so I'm doing my best to make ends meet by working on customized My Little Ponies and selling them. It's a slow market, but it's been somewhat successful for me so far, and I really enjoy doing it ( Read more... )

Oh man, I absolutely LOVE the black one (third in the left column), and the second one is pretty awesome too.

I'd participate in the raffle, but I don't do PayPal. :( Lo siento. They ARE really cute though, and I wish I did.

'Will definitely participate in your raffle - - - but - - - how would someone commission a custom pony from you? What sort of pricing, just ballpark as each would be unique and materials and time would vary by quite a lot. What sorts of requirements do you have? What else?

I've really only done one straight on commission so far, most of my ponies have gone in custom swaps or else I just make what I think looks good and hope it sells. A typical price for a "basic" custom (something with new hair, repainted eyes and some symbol work, painted or sculpted) is $25-$30. Baby ponies are usually a bit less, more like $20, since they require less in terms of material. I'm really new to the pony making world so my prices are fairly low. The prices would go up with complexity as far as sculpting goes or other additional factors.
