Okay, lovely flist. I'm relying on all of you (especially you, arnie1967) to help me out here.

I'm heading to the UK in October and I will be in Leeds for 3 days and London for 3 days.

Ooh, 3 days in London? Have fun! I think you're right about an East End show - they're very popular. And Trafalgar Square is very well known (though I have no idea what's specifically there) so you'll probably have no trouble getting to it.

Have you thought about the Tower of London? It's chockful of history and reputed to be haunted. It's also an incredibly popular tourist attraction, due to the history, tours and Beefeaters. No, not people eating steak - the guards wear specific uniforms.

I don't have any ideas about Leeds though. Hmmm...I will ask around.
