He just doesn't get it...
Who: Hayner and Olette
What: Hayner is mad and a little depressed, but he can't figure out why.
When: Nowish, after the mist and monsters and everything.
Where: The Hotel that Never Was, Hayner's room.
Warnings: The usual: Hayner's recurring TBS, or Teenage Boy Syndrome.
It had been... difficult, to say the least, adjusting to Never Was. Hayner missed a lot of things; eating ice cream on the clocktower, bugging Seifer and his gang (which wasn't quite the same here, Seifer older and it was weird and something felt off), Struggle, Pence...
Yeah, Olette was here, but recently, whenever he thought about her, Hayner jut got... mad. Yeah, he was friends with Kairi and Sora and Roxas (apparently REALLY good friends with Roxas, from his story...), but suddenly Olette had all these other friends, like that Zidane guy, who for some reason just bugged Hayner more and more the more he saw him. Which was pretty often. Because they would be hanging out, and he would just appear and Olette, naturally, would invite him to join them, and of course he would accept, and then would flirt with her like crazy in a way that just made Hayner so mad. And she just... let him!
So more and more recently, especially since getting attacked by those monsters in the mist and everything that had happened with that, Hayner had been staying in his room. Occasionally he would go outside and practice Struggle by himself, using a large stick he'd found.
But that was less fun than having a partner, and he didn't really feel like hanging out with other people.
So for now, he laid on his bed, staring at the ceiling with a frown on his face, trying to ignore how his stomach felt like it was twisting every time he thought about anything.
