So I finished finals on the 21st, drove home on the 22nd, and then have been asleep and/or writing for most of the last three days. Good times, man, good times.

This week is pretty bleah, and I think it's going to be like that for the foreseeable future. I'm sort of incapable of seeing beyond all these applications and exams, anyway. Also, Yuletide. I'm getting that done, absolutely.

The Big One went pretty okay! I ended up winning all but one of my pool bouts, which is pretty good. The girl I lost to was really good - her brother goes to my school, so we chatted a bit. I'm getting up at a quarter to five tomorrow, to get together with my team and drive to the Big One (a big individuals competition). I don't have to personally drive one of the vans this year, which is awesome excellent news. I do have to host the fencing party tomorrow night, because I have an actual basement this year. Okay, I'm finally back in America with internet, after a day of being in airplanes and airports (without internet) and then a day of being in fake England (also without internet). I have been thinking about fencing a LOT lately, for three reasons. 1) I have practice twice a week, and I love it and I love fencing and I love the people I fence with. Made it to Germany last Sunday, everything fine so far. Have figured out the buses (sort of), bought groceries, found someplace to fence, and finally have internet of my very own!
