[Someone's been watching this ritual for a little while now. It had started as an idle curiosity to see if he could identify the Charmander's conversation, but it had steadily developed as it became clear that there just wasn't going to be a conversation at all.

[So, normally, seeing Kerosene would be reason to turn around and walk in the other direction, and hope he hadn't seen her. Awkward teacher crushes are awkward as hell, and she has no idea how to deal with them.
On the other hand, Green had taken a liking to the kid, and probably wouldn't be too happy with her if she were to see him looking so upset and just walk by. So, she stopped on her way to wherever it is she was going, and took a seat next to him.]
