well, I'm not so happy. Actually I'm very upset. My recital was not so great and even though I got through it I am not proud of my self. I should have worked harder so that something like that wouln't happen, and I didn't. I'm being so lazy about all of this, and in performance there's no room for shortcuts or taking it easy. dont beat yourself up over the one mistake, you did GREAT!! everyone was in awe when you played, other people in the audience who were only taping their kids, were taping you too because you were so good. some audience members were swaying to the music. you blew the rest of the performers away, you're way ahead of the game for only being 16 you know you're more talented than most peole you're age. but you should work hard you're right. working hard is always good, but just know you did awesome at the concert.

I wasn't there to see it, so I don't know what happenned, but... I know, from the past, that you are an amazing pianist. You were always miles ahead of me... and I'm considered, by most, to be a very skilled piano player...

I understand in entirity what you mean about music making you want to do the best that you can. Though that doesn't happen with me for piano... in my bands... I strive for perfection. Less than that is unacceptable.
