Weather Update

It's 17 degrees in downtown Portland. Even though it's well below freezing, for some reason it won't snow...and I figure if it's going to be this cold, it may as well. I can tell my cats are cold because every time I sit on the couch they crawl all over me; one of my cats, Horatio, usually very aloof, actually crawled in my lap as I was checking

My cat Spooky has issues with my computer. When I lived with him, I couldn't play a game or check my mail without him sitting in my lap. Damn I miss the little fucker, but I can't say I mind his litter box being my mom's lookout.

Very cool cat name -- Spooky. I'm a bit of a nerd. My cats (Edgar and Horatio) are named after Shakespeare characters. Edgar is also named after Poe (she's a black cat, like in one of his stories).

I think cats actually get jealous when you work at the computer. Edgar tries to sit ON the keyboard, like she's trying to block my fingers from the keys.

As I write this, Horatio is staring at my hands.
