Frank nearly died staring at the picture that was sent with the Owl, taking a minute to register the fact that she gave him a time frame. He had been waiting all day to give her what he had actually gotten her, rather than the little flower display he showed her at midnight. What could he say? Frank was a romantic and an avid fan of holidays... any excuse would really do for him.

He appariated upstairs to their room to fixed himself up as well as other things, having been in the den pretending to work. With about a minute to go he was down in the kitchen just standing at the entrance, his eyes taking her in. It looked even better in person.

Alice didn't usually do so much cooking but she had managed to keep the kitchen relatively clean considering all the things she had strowed about. She finished cutting up a tomato and then turned ar the sound of foot steps, giving her husband a cheeky look.

"I think it would look better if I were as tall as the model in the picture I sent you but I'm afraid this is what you're stuck with." Funny thing was she had to actually alter the dress to make it fit right with her height.

"Sit down, the salad is already waiting on you."

"Stuck with?" Frank eyed her with interest at her words, his cheeks starting to flush as he tried not to look at her body and in turn was thinking about it minus the dress. Quite the trade off. "I do believe I have the better deal, for one, the image before me is 3D, unaltered and entirely too beautiful for words." Smiling, he snuck over to sneak a kiss before doing as he was told.

She kissed him back and then watched him adoringly as he sat down before going back to the oven and taking out what would be the third course and put in the fourth.

Alice sat down across from him, careful to make sure the dress kept up it's teasing attributes before taking a bite of her salad. "I figured you would need your strength," Alice said calmly taking another bite. "To give me my Valentine present that is." If he thought the dress was the only tease planned for the evening he was very wrong.

"Frank..Frank," she softly chanted his name, her hold on him loosening for comfort's sake. She stroked his hair lips pressing against the side of his face as she murmured affection sweet nothings into his ear.

Alice felt like her world had just been turned on it's head. Everything felt..wonderful. Birds were sining, the grass was green and the sky bright blue. And she was happy..not just happy but punch drunk, knock me over with a feather, slap my ass and call me cowboy happy. Never. In her life had anything remotely felt quite that amazing, and she gave a very soft giggle in amusement.

"I...oh f-" Frank exhaled hard trying to recollect his thoughts, the very fact that he had nealy said the word that had been struck out of his vocabulary 15 years ago, certainly said something. "I love you, I love you so much. Damn. So very much."

Frank finally had to move, for the sake of all things good and holy as he wasn't sure what would happen if he didn't. Of course his form of moving was pulling gently out of her, climbing on the bed with her very much still against him and then laying beside her.

Alice winced harder than usual as his body left hers but then snuggled up against him, her hand rubbing up and down his arm as she studied his eyes. It was like she couldn't stop touching him, stop petting him gratefully.

"That was amazing," she said her voice cracking lightly. "I...I don't even have the words..." Alice leaned forward and kissed him softly, more about love than anything else. "Thank you so much, I'll understand if that's not something you want to do again." She pushed his hair back from his face, "thank you for being willing to try it."

Frank just smiled at her, his eyes on her face and just her face, studying her as if for the first time even though he had her face and form completely memorized.

"We'll see," he compromised though there was really no need for it. Sure that wouldn't be an every night activity but it was certainly something he was willing to try again, maybe even randomly surprise her with. "You know I'll do anything for you, anything in all the world." Frank kissed her again, softly and just holding her right up against him, feeling her heart beat through her skin.
