God she was shaking, and he couldn't blame her, he wasn't exactly the calmest of persons for his simulation either. At least they had told her where she was going, when he had ended up in a trench it had been a complete shock and certainly not one of the pleasent sort. There were so many things running through his head that he wanted to tell her, but they could potentially make the situation even worse. He was going to stray away from doing that for as long as possible.
They approached the office and he quickly wrapped an arm around her to give her a reassuring squeeze and a quick peck on the top of her head, before getting the door for her, so very surprised to hear Moddy address him as if he was supposed to be there. And even more surprised at what was being asked of him.
Had he been not as proud as he was, Frank would've no doubt asked his senior officer whether this order was sent from Scrimgeour or not, but seeing as he was very proud, and far too respectful of his superiors he kept that question to himself. "And my class, sir
Alice stared at Moody and then up at Frank with big eyes not liking this situation one bit.
"But..I," she fell silent not for her sake but for that of her husband's as she knew how badly her actions had the potential of reflecting on him. Didn't mean she wasn't kicking and screaming on the inside.
Moody watched the dynamic and was very pleased with Frank though he didn't show it.
"It's being covered by Baxter, I already took care of it." He eyed them both as if waiting for dissent and was himself surprised that Alice hadn't thrown a fit. Perhaps Frank did have better control of her than he thought.
Well this was certainly a twist of events that had been the last on his mind. Frank kept in everything he was thinking, everything he was feeling about this sudden change of plans. It wasn't right and he was getting plenty tired of all of these so called 'tests' that kept being thrown their way. He had no problem going to the edge of the world and back to prove to his wife all that she was too him, but they had been doing quite the job at keeping home separate from work, and here was work trying to cause battles at home. This had to be what it was considering the fact that it was an Auror with five years experience at least whom dealt with taking the trainees to their assigned simulations

"The port key is in the next office; that is all Longbottom. Davis is waiting for her there." He looked over at Alice before speaking gruffly. "We will see you in three days, constant vigilance! You never know when an enemy is lurking about and you must ever be prepared." With that he dismissed them, turning to his paperwork.
Alice jumped at his raised voice and then slowly walked out after a nod, not touching Frank despite an overwhelming urge to do so. She stepped into the next office, and stared at the port key with displeasure.
