Jordan sat at her usual table in the back corner of the Library, just outside the Restricted Books Section.  Not a lot of people go into that section so she figured it was the best place to study without being interrupted. Plus, if anyone did ever go ( Read more... )

"Ahh, so it was you I saw from the other side of the library!"

Ofcourse, Remus took no offence to her manner, there were two different types of insults, and Jo never usually insulted him, he moved out of her light immediately.

"I hadn't see you around today, someone mentioned you were here, thought I'd ask how quidditch went." he said smiling warmly, today was a good day, he sat down opposite her. Careful incase she was in a bad mood, he'd of hated to hurt her feelings or if he'd said the wrong thing. He didn't know her very well, but well enough to know her as a good quidditch player and on good talking terms with everyone usually.

"Good day?"

Jordan marked her spot and smiled as she looked up to see the familiar face of Remus. He was always a welcome visitor. And of course the mention of Quidditch made her spirits lift immediately.

"Quidditch was good. James and I worked out some new plays that show make those Hufflepuffs spin in circles....literally. Sirius did almost hit me with a bludger. He said he was just testing me, but I just think he has bad aim." Jo laughed. It was easy to joke about Sirius, especially with Remus.

"My day was fabulous until we got smacked with this stupid History of Magic essay. I really do hate that class. It's just.....boring, and Binns never pays attention to anything. Today I transfigured the apple on his desk into an orange, a book, a newt, a cat which actually meowed and he still didn't notice! I could have made it a giant and he probably would have said 'Why so late, Mr. Emory?'" Jordan mocked the big Slytherin boy by puffing out her cheeks and wobbling in her seat.

Remus smiled, "Glad to here it" He sat down opposite the chatty Gryfindor and he smiled warmly as he watched her talk, she reminded him of his mother, but his mother before what had happened to him and his father, she'd once been an outgoing protective mother, now she was a shy stuttering nervous wreck with a complex about her son...

He gave a few laughs at her antics in lesson and about the slytherin, his eyes bright. "I finished the essay already if you need a hand?" he suggested, "I'm sure the boys will need it later aswell."

Jordan smiled at the offered help. "Thanks for the offer but I'm sure you'd rather not help explain this stupid junk twice...plus I could use a break. What do you say we get out of here?" Jordan lifted an eyebrow in a playful manner, having so many better ideas for what she could be doing right now instead of this essay. "Let's go have some fun, shall we?
