Alice had just come out of the most grueling weekend of her life. She was sweaty gross and exhausted not to mention unshowered. She was port-keyed back to the ministry and told that she had the rest of the week off.
"Good job," Moody say gruffly, looking down at the blonde student. "The superiors said you did well at the camp, however they also said you have quite the stubborn streak. Superiors are called your superiors for a reason Miss Longbottom."
Alice looked up at him before raising a single eyebrow. "That is Mrs. Longbottom respectfully sir and if you would have seen the grasshopper that was on the bridge they were wanting me to cross you would have just turned and fought too."
Moody just stared at her for a moment, unsure how to respond to that and wondering yet again how she was married to Mr. Easy going. Moody never failed to remind Frank of his position and what it entailed, and then the crazy fool had finally gotten down the aggressive part only to fall for one of students. Yes...wrong kind of aggressive. Moody finally just shook his head. "Go. Home. Shower take a break."
She nodded, letting his little stubborn comment go for the moment as she made her way to the floo. She stepped into her own house and nearly collasped. Alice drug herself back to the shower not even bothering to wipe the soot from the floo off her cheeks. She took her clothes off on the way and simply threw them away, wrinkling her nose at them.
The shower was warm and she stepped under it, sighing to herself. Drying her hair she finally emerged thirty minutes later. Alice looked around her house missing Frank but knowing he would be home as soon as he could. She dug through his drawer until she found her favorite shirt of his which was quickly pulled over her head. With a small yawn, Alice climbed into the bed, hugging his present to herself as she grabbed a nap while she waited for him.
