Dorcas felt the corner of her lip twitch in frustration as she sat in the Library, it was a place of work, study and silence not of groping, kissing and frolicking behind bookcases! Gideon looked up from the next table over when he heard what was happening. "Th-thanks." he said in relief, watching them go. "I thought they'd never stop." he pushed his hair from his face. "They were... were quite loud."

"Oh" Dorcas looked startled that someone else was there she hadn't noticed them "No problem, it was a bit distracting - actually it was very much distracting" she smiled, the boys face was familiar but she seemed to have forgotten his name "I'm sorry but I can't quite remember your name, I'm Dorcas by the way"

"Oh yes I remember you now, I've seen you around with Jack abit..." she had seen him with Jack several times, However she had never asked Jack about the boy fearing it would be to intrusive. Dorcas shrugged taking a seat beside him "Well it's nice to formally meet you Gideon"

"Oh no don't apologise" Dorcas said her eyes downcast, the last thing she wanted to do was make a friend of Jack's nervous "Yeah, Jack is a really close friend of mine we met through our parents, and kind of bonded over both wanting to become Auror's" she smiled fondly "What about yourself any career plans yet?"

"oh.." he said, looking to all his books, then back to the girl "Oh, I don't know. I entertained the thought of being an auror... but I think that's for gideon. I don't really... like fighting. Only if it's... it's you know> A good cause or... it... Hurts someone I really. love." he scratched the back of his neck. "I think I just want to open a bookshoppe."

"Yeah I get what you mean, I just couldn't imagine doing anything else - A book shop! that seems pretty cool" Dorcas half smiled pulling at a lose thread on her robe "What kind like a muggle store or a bit of a mix? I adore muggle literature" she exclaimed excitedly

Gideon nodded. "I'll pretty much read anything. I live for it... reading, that is." he said, looking around to the books littering his table. "Some people don't understand it, but..." he shrugged again.

"But...other people never really understand you" Dorcas shrugged "I can't understand anyone else but myself, and it's always been that way" she frowned pausing for a moment "I don't judge though, never. I just think its too hard to understand others"

Gideon nodded. "That's...that's a good way to be. There's only... only three people in the whole of the world that... that seem to kind of... kind of... well, if not understand, at least appreciate em." he said with a soft frown. "And that's my mother, my brother..." And Jack..... He blinked slightly before looking to the table. "And... well.. and Jack."

Dorcas nodded "It's just - really hard to find anyone you can really trust these days" Dorcas smiled fondly when Gideon mentioned Jack "Uh yes, Jack is one of the only people I would trust with my life"
