With: a box of dark chocolates, and DADA homework.

"I...I um..."

Remus was standing with his eye brow raised, he'd been about to greet him when he'd noticed the chocolates, and the growl of "What" had caused him to jump.

"I...yeah....bad timing."

Remus seemed unsure what to do with himself, catching Severus about to have one of the chocolates he gave him was indeed something to be happy about, and atleast he was eating them! There was one missing, so Severus must be saving them for special times when he needed chocolate. He was sure of it.

"I'd better go then"

Severus turned a dark red as he recognized Remus' voice, but he recovered quickly. He grasped the box of chocolate tightly in his hand, holding it out to the Gryffindor. "It's perfect timing. I was just about to search you out to return these," he lied easily.

That was...unexpected.

"Oh..." he murmured, looking at the box of chocolates thrust towards him and almost into his hands, "I...but they were a gift, for helping....you don't like dark chocolate or something? I can get you a different type if that's the problem" he asked with a sad look on his face.

"No. Dark chocolate is fine. I haven't even..." he stopped. "I don't require payment."

It wasn't that he didn't want them. It was just that he was rather embarrassed at being discovered about to actually enjoy something. He was Severus Snape. He was supposed to be mean and unpleasant all the time.
