Well, we thought everything was going smoothly today until the Atlanta courts faxed the DMV the corrected information. When the judge changed the ticket so that she wouldn't lose her license he made a typo and decreased the speed by one too many points thereby officially suspending her license. I called the clerks office in Atlanta and explained

Well, this is how I warned my sons: If they were going to drive without insurance, with an expired license, etc. at the very least they should wear their seat belts and observe the speed limits and all other traffic rules until they got the insurance and license restored. They certainly shouldn't be attacting attention by speeding, squealing tires, etc.

How funny I just talked to you on the phone as this page was pulling up! I still need to read this whole story, but I have plenty of tickets myself, so maybe I should go pay them so I don't get arrested!!!
