I know! Can you believe it? A soldier killed an enemy combatant that had previously been trying to kill him. What an animal! We should just tell our soldiers not to kill the enemy. Lets just put them all in time out. That would work. *steams*
No, No, NO! The point is that the press has a right to be there, but has no right to interefere. When things like this happen, it compromises the men fighting right now to protect said Democracy.
Acting accordingly

I agree that all US Service members should follow and uphold the Rules of Engagement. However, we are not fighting a uniformed military, so the International Laws of War (Geneva Convention) do not apply. We are following them as much as possible, but our enemy has chosen to use women and children to attack US Military. People that are surrendering often "change their minds" and attack after waiving the white flag. Wounded enemy will lay on explosives and wait for our medical personel to come to their aid before they kill themselves and our non-combatants. I will accept the killing of 100 wounded enemy combatants over the death of one Marine or Soldier. I know that I am biased on this, but these are my Marines that are dying trying to help people that are willing to sacrifice their lives to harm Americans and our way of life. Jarod
