I'm trying to decide what to do about work. I've been working on weekends for another doctor, and now that I lost my regular job, they want me to stay on with them. The problem is that they hired 3 new people last month, and really don't have the hours or dollars in the budget to accomodate another full time employee. I can't afford to only work

Yeah, I meant to comment about your getting fired. It's so messed up! I'm glad you at least have the part-time thing to fall back on for now. And you're right, with the bachelor's degree you should have a few options.

This is the exact situation that unemployment was created for, so I hope it works out!

UI here seems like a pain in the ass. I've thought about it because you can apply if you quit in certain situations, but anything I've tried to do with the govt here has been a giantic clusterfuck, so i'll just keep looking for a job.
