Hey everybody! I am in Yuma, AZ tonight. We didn't expect to get this far so soon, but we'll only have about 250 miles to drive in the rain tomorrow on our short trek to Oceanside. Jarod left Camp Fallujah today, the first step of his journey home. He should be in Kuwait by now. He's scheduled to leave Kuwait on Sunday, and he'll land in California early Tuesday morning. I am finally completely finished with all my ink. My last project was the fairy, and she took two sessions... one 5 hour, one 2 hour... but it was worth it. I'm glad she's finished. I think she'll probably be my last piece.

We hit the road 6 weeks from today. I believe it goes without saying that I am excited. :)

This year I graduated college, met the love of my life, and started over.

I'm conducting an experiment. I'm going to send "Hi, I haven't heard from you in a while" emails out to some of my old friends on my contact list and see who bothers to reply. This should be either interesting or disappointing.

So, I'm back at work, for probably the last time before I move. I had a nice Christmas with my family. On my mother's side, everyone was nuts as usual. I think my favorite part about this Christmas was the lack of traveling. I've lived in DFW for the last 8 years, and this year I was just down the street.
