Danny! Season 3 out on DVD
in the season premire of Danny! (the newly renamed and retooled version of The West) we see Danny standing outside of a gamestop. he looks up and sighs. he thinks back of last summer. (a bunch of flashbacks of the previous season)
in the begining of the last season danny left to arizona and spent his summer then he went los angeles with his freinds (by the help of the disney and abc companies)when he came back he was jobless and pennyless. when he entered his house he felt out of place. (episode 23: home "sweet" home?)then he started to look for a job, he work many odd jobs, like in episode 27: two guys, a girl and a pizza delivery car that doesn't work, where danny was a pizza devilary boy for a short while then he quit after four episode. also this is where his addiction kicks in. his video game addiction. this is where new locales such as Video Game Store (a genaric yet effective title) and The Better Video Game Store are introduce.
throughout the season danny denies of having this problem like in episode 60: a dic tion is not for you. there were other topics that touched based such as working for a chinesse people and making you work hard. the most surprising episode and an instant holiday classic is episode 54: home for the holidays, where danny's family leaves and he goes over to Pablo's house for a thanksgiving dinner. a heart warming story but in that same episode danny loses his new job as well.
after a month of being jobless, danny finally gets a new job, a place that reminds him of The West. This new area is called GC Services the Reliant Project. everyone expects to quit his job after three months but guess what he proves them wrong in "It's my birthday present" when he passes his three month aniversity at the job. this was the major story arc for the this past season.
some of the other story arc included the return of julio (epidsode 80), the recarnation of alphabetter, (episode 82)and the most important part the long and awaiting love story arc that was introduced in episode 65 (Fanboy's beware Danny is here!) within this episode the gamestop girl is introduces. it only take 10 episodes to get her name that's in the season finale "x-men: the last stand, and i got her name?"
so season three takes place a month after the last season, where danny is standing outside. he walks and sees the girl. they start to talk (the whole episode is mostly just them talking) meanwhile the band is trying to figure out how to reach a new level of being awesome. a with a few tries they get new songs and they get the new shows to be set up. by the end of the show the game stop girl's asks out danny to go out with her and her friends. danny is stunned and agrees. he starts to think if this is all a dream. then by the end of the show he gets her number. within the credits is outside the luis house with her number.
so far the story arc is really leaning onto danny's love life but some new characters have appeared. when julio left, a new master mind appeared to destroy the adorable danny and punished all of his followers. he has failed in many ways. in last week episode, he created evil danny but what his plans? in the upcoming episodes, we got the group date episode, and satisfaction! episode (this included special performances by rolling stones and dave matthews band) also the new look of alphabetter. so season four looks to be great show to look out this fall.
