[OOC] Juliet's Storylines
"Never Make a Promise." Juliet is a doctor, albeit a fertility doctor, but sometimes she has a hard time not seeing people as patients if they have a problem she feels she should solve. These are the people she cares about irrevocably- the people who see her far more caring side, although that doesn’t mean she won’t do downright bitchy things to them for the sake of protecting them (after all, she once told one of her patients’ husbands that she had an affair just to keep her from doing something that might kill her and her unborn child). "The One I Should Not Think Of." Juliet was "claimed" by a man named Benjamin Linus in her own world and every man she’s fallen for that wasn’t him has met a tragic end (except Jack, but Jack’s not here and she’s concerned he’ll meet the same end before she gets back). Even though Ben’s not in this world, Juliet’s still going to be wary of falling for someone else because Ben’s always on the back of her mind, but that never stops her from falling and falling hard. "Justify Each Move." Juliet has a mind like a chessmaster (she learned from the best), so it goes without saying that she doesn’t think like most people. Back in her own world, she played people against each other, played both sides of the fence, and, as evidenced by my song choice, was really on nobody’s side but her own. She didn’t do this out of malice- just out of desperation, and half the time she doesn’t realize she’s doing it. This is the person whose going to call her on it if they note her exhibiting such behaviors- who’ll make her justify why she’s doing what she’s doing even if she’s never had to explain herself before. "Nobody’s Rules Are the Same." The person she’ll become closest to either because they share a connection or have a similar mindset. Basically, the best friend-type-thing. It goes without saying that she doesn’t often meet people who either think like she does or wholly trust her, but this person does for whatever reason. [1 Opening]
"Never Let a Friend Fool You Twice." The other friends. These people aren’t as close to her as say her best friend, so they’re more acquaintances, but they’re still people she likes and enjoys being around. They may not completely approve of some of the things she's likely to do, but they won't completely despise her for them.[riftingaiden- Aiden Mori]
"The Cracks Begin to Show." Juliet can come off as being extremely strong and impossible to break, but there have been people who can break her or at least make every single one of her rock-hard defenses crumble. She used to be an extremely fragile and delicate woman before the island, after all, and it’s inevitable that someone can bring that side out again, especially if they're anything like Ben. [OPEN]
