If y'll don't mind I'd like your opinions on what to choose. I've turned to turning over almost every stone on Amazon for lamps and I would like to share them with all of you.  These will be going in my bed room ( Read more... )

I'm with Aeto on this. Theming and not something you could buy at LOWES. I've been looking for some like any one of these myself. I just don't have a theme going anywhere in my living space. I just like the light.

What are you going to use them for?

Mood/work/motive lighting?

Currently my room has not been updated since the early 90's style. I'm looking into something that is more personable that I choose and not the family.

I honestly wouldn't be able to give a fair opinion without knowing what the rest of the room motif looks like.

My room currently does not have a motif, it is an early 90's style that I want to update and change into something different.

Ah OK, so the IKEA stuff doesn't do it for you, Well if I were to choose I like to take Form with function and the 2nd one to me appears to have a bit of both. It has the lights raised which will help with your lighting needs as well as some shelves underneath that provide a place to put knick knacks to help fill in the space to fit your exacting needs. It also feels very modern design and won't look goofy having just one as bedstands tend to be in pairs.

Those other lamps don't do much for me as they tend to feel uninspired and a bit generic though I am sure they look a bit better in person.

I guess it really depends on the amount of light your looking for, if your going for a nice functional look but not hoping to lose too much light go for #2, If your going for a functional space with a bit less light go with #5/6
