I love how the bells being played for 15 minutes maybe twice a day only about 4 days a week is "overplaying".

also I love the bells. Always. And I think you should threaten to start the day off at 8 am with that lovely rag from Cornell. I would appreciate it. :)

laughs hysterically for 10 minutes. and if i had to play the rag i'm not sure i'd be a bellringer hoenstly.

Threats alone of a campus-wide 8 am wake up call would make them shut up about 15 minutes before dinner, brunch, and lunch.

dear everyone at wells who doesn't know enough to appreciate the bells being rung:

it's actually really really cool to be able to be a bell ringer at college versus having some machine do everything automatically. it is also really nice to be able to listen to the bells a couple of times a day. it is calming, soothing and relaxing. if you're spending all of your time taking naps and whatever that are being disrupted buy the bells, leave the college. you do not belong at an institute of higher learning because you do not care enough to work hard. then you wouldn't have to "put up with" the bells.
