The reiteration is understandable, but it does have the negative side effect of making you sound like you're trying to convince yourself of the fact as much as you're attempting to convince us.

I won't say anything without believe it first.

So you believe your possession by the alien was directly linked to your mental fortitude?

From the looks of it, no one got out of it without extra help.

Nothing physical can get the slug out. Sure, you someone can cut into your head, but that'd likely take you down with the motherfucker. It controls your brain, and so it makes the most sense for the mind to be the only thing that could fight it off.

[ ooc: believing* I am tired. >_> ]

Yeah you do.

Nope. Doesn't count when someone else makes you do it.

You're making you do it. Every morning when you wake up with your eyes a bit gritty. Sometimes when you're sneezing, or yawning. Nothing wrong with it. We've got tear ducts because it's healthy to cry, emotionally and otherwise.

I don't cry emotionally, Mr. Stickler-For-Details. There's no reason to be a baby, when crying won't fix your problems.

Mind control is an inherently powerful tool precisely because it is so good at eroding free will. One does not necessarily have to be weak in order to succumb.

I wasn't saying we were weak. I meant that maybe if we were stronger, we could have broken it.

There's got to be a loophole. Some way to block it.

It would depend on what type of mind control was used.

Something crawling into your head and taking control?

What types are there?

That's quite right. You seem far too brave and capable for tears.

We've never even met before.

But thanks.

But it doesn't fix anything, does it?

I think it's better to teach yourself not to depend on tears. When something upsets me, I want to be able to think clearly right away.
