[People have asked him before what Mindy could possibly see in him; presumably, they've equally wondered what he sees in Mindy. It's never been a question of aesthetics, though he does acknowledge that she is pretty. It's certainly not a question of breeding and manners, as evidenced by the colourful and novel bits of profanity she has no qualms about slinging around.

What it is, however, is simply the fact that all of Mindy's rough edges seem to fit neatly with his own, that their relationship turns just about every social norm in the world on its head, and--let's be honest--because watching her when she's kicking the ever-living daylights out of somebody that deserves it is really, really hot.]
