Game 046 [Voice/Action] - The Longest Two Years

I'm guessing most if not all of you have felt the phenomenon where time seems to move at different rates, even though you know it's all in your mind. So tell me, does being in Luceti cause time to feel different to you than it did when you were back home?

[Leonhardt is on his way home from a trip to the village to get a few things he had run out of. And on his way home he happens to catch Joshua while painting.

And that causes Leonhardt to look on curiously for a short time. He sure hasn't seen a building be used as a canvas for art and finds that an unusual choice. And the art itself is quite unusual also, though it is evident the artist has skill.]

[ Joshua finishes one piece of the design before stepping back and looking over his progress, letting the paint dry a bit before switching colors. He stretches and glances around a bit, and that's when he notices that he has company. ]

[And he hadn't meant to be noticed. Dang, he sure is getting lazy about hiding his presence better.]

I have never seen art like that. Don't you have concerns that the repairing mechanisms of this place may remove it?

The last mural painted here didn't disappear until its artist did. [ He shrugs, then giggles. ] I suppose that means I look forward to the day this one is removed as well.

You've never seen this style, or a mural in general?

It doesn't feel as though I've been here two years. Or as though I spent four at home in between some of that.

Does it feel shorter or longer?

I suppose it feels shorter. Maybe it's because everything here seems intense somehow.

Intense in what way?

[ The shorter doesn't really surprise him. Human recollection tends to make light of previous experiences, after all. ]

I've only been here a short amount of time, but... I think this place does have a slightly different power, as of such, regarding how time works.

I find myself certainly remembering things from further back than I usually do.

What sorts of things would those be?

Creating the barrier to seperate my land from the rest of the outside world, acquaintances who passed on centuries ago... that sort of thing.

Usually, I start forgetting after about sixty years, but... I seem to be remembering things recently.

... Centuries? Dare I ask just how old you are?

[Don't think she's not watching from across the way, Joshua. In fact she's leaning against a nearby tree and just...watching. Originally she was on her way to the shop, but she's more interested in this. It's definitely not the same style as Mr. H, or even Neku's like she's used to, but it's not totally terrible.]

You're going to cover the whole thing?

[ Joshua casts her a glance and continues working. ]

Isn't that how murals tend to go?

I wasn't sure if it was a solo project or what. You've got an idea of what you're doing to the whole thing?
