Make a list. Write down every last thing about back home you can think of. The things you liked. Things that always annoyed you. Every single memory you have. Don't rush it, give it time. Days, at the very least. Details are important. Capture everything you can manage.

After the list is written, you look and see how much on there you can find where you happen to be now. When a body can't get back home for one reason or another, then you got to bring home with you however you can.
