How fitting that my wishes to travel have fully manifested themselves on my day of birth. After waking up on a boat in Ha Long Bay, Vietnam and sailing to shore, we proceeded to take a 3 hour bus ride back to Hanoi. Living vicariously is awesome and all, but I am finally getting into the way of increasingly elaborate travel plans. Mayhap internship (at the very least a visit) in DC, CA again next year, also possible New York and/or Prague.
Despite the jealousy I am very proud of where my compatriots of yore are going and have gone. Too squishy? Deal with it. Everyone is growing up quite nicely and doing impressive things.
However my main fears about college have been realized. Though I have no desire to change my major(s), I am getting addicted to taking classes outside my major. Politics, Fashion, Music. College is so terribly diverting...
