i sprained my shoulder this morning. all things considered, it's not a big deal. it'll heal in 7-10 days. and i have 7 days off, for our winter break. and i had a good morning and i hurt it doing something fun. but damn it hurts! it hurts to lift my arm at all. and also, i wasn't planning to rest completely for 7 days ( Read more... )

Ugh. The AC joint is exactly what I hurt, oh, going on 6 months ago now. The fucker still aches, most especially after I do partner acro and people are basically stepping on it. Let me know if you come up with any PT exercises that help.

remind me how you injured yours? trauma or overuse? anyway sounds like i should buy that replacement ice pack insert for my strap-on shoulder icepack (the old one leaked).

I don't know for sure. I think it was 2 fairly close-together instances of using it too hard (so, trauma, but not sharp like getting hit with a hammer).

I did a difficult acro move with all my weight on my left arm (basically a crocodile type thing), and after that it was sore. I took it easy, but a week later I went rock climbing and did tons of difficult things and after that it freaking killed me. Neither time did I have that twinge feeling of "oh I just hurt myself".

very annoying.
