1:45 to 2:00 -- the "isolations" idea totally works and looks great :)

love the whole thing.

Look at you being so fucking good at handstands that you start to transcend them. This is thrilling, M.

I cannot overstate how much the sequence that starts at 2:14 excites, surprises, and satisfies me. SO GOOD. Oh my god.

Adding these gentle and floppy rhythms, these rocking, swaying, and translating elements, and this precise geometry -- it makes me totally reorganize my understanding of the body. You are a fully expressive other creature, not just a human doing tricks. Underneath is the understanding that I'm watching this competent technician, but your rhythms free me from focusing on that: there's important emotional information here, and you invite me to yield to it. But the fact that the technical rigor is still obviously there supporting all this makes the overall experience feel dense and heady.

I AM SO EXCITED BY THIS. MEGAN.

Generous. It feels so generous, because you're giving away "for free" what would, for other handstand acts, be the whole focus of the act: the technical rigor. You're like, "Oh yes, you can have all of that, but just put it in your pocket to remember for later, because right now you're going to feel something and be transported and disoriented."
