Hermione had been studying for 36 hours straight. After classes yesterday she had found a nice little corner if the library, surrounded herself with her books and proceeded to study herself into a quasi coherent state. She had set the quick notes spell when she started and was in the process of breaking out a brand new notebook for the quill to continue on when her mind began to wander. She set the notebook out on the new fresh first page. There are three seperate ingredients in the Delamin Potion that need to be maintained at 17 degrees celsius before being mixed. Once the mixture has begun the temperature... eyes glazing over Hermione didnt realize that she was no longer looking at the book but reciting the potion from memory. She had studied until the point where most things were somewhere in her head but at the moment, everything was a blur. She had gotten the idea to study straight through sleeping from Kyle who said he did it regularly. Thinking of the boy Hermione's exhausted mind began to drift.
Kyle is going to do well on his OWLs, I wish Harry and Ron were as easily motivated to study. Boys seem to care about little else than Quidditch and girls. Justin was better, he cared and literature and art...until he had to go to St. Mungo's that is. Is it my fault? If I had been more attentive, less demanding would he still be here? I guess he probably hates me now. I'm single but there isn't a boy in this school I would be interested in, well, aside from Kyle. He's taken so stop it Hermione, he isn't interested in you at all. It was all just foolishness. No one is interested in you, which is a good thing since you send boys to St. Mungo's...
Suddenly realizing that her train of thought had crashed horribly, Hermione lunged for her notebook. She hadn't been paying attention at all, anyone could have come up and been reading what she had been thinking!
ooc: We discussed and decided to write Justin out of Hermione's relationship at the moment. so this is mainly for that. And of course for the possability to embarass Hermione.
