Info Post of Dooooom!

When writing info posts, it really is nice to start with the newest character, isn't it?

Morgana is from the television show Merlin, best known in Fandom for Merlin and Arthur, the gayest duo ever. (Don't lie boys, it's not noble.) In this version of the Arthurian legend, Morgana is the ward of Uther Pendragon (he took her in after her father, his best friend, was killed in battle), and Arthur's psuedo-sister (which makes the fact that she's crazy in love with him only a little awkward). If you want to describe Morgana politely, "feisty" and "headstrong" will probably do the trick. She's a strong woman in a time when women are meant to be weak and obedient, and she's never one to let what she's supposed to do or be like be her guide. (Like many people, I do not have a type. At all. Seriously.) It can be easy to get her on your side, and she's very protective of the people she cares about. But she's also very, very stubborn, and has no problem questioning authority and telling them they're doing things wrong. (This, I imagine, will lead to many detentions, but that'll still be better than spending the night in the dungeons like she's used to.)

As for magical abilities, she's not a sorceress (sort of) and she's not an evil witch (yet). Right now, Morgana is only a Seer: she has vivid dreams and nightmares about future events that she can't really control or explain. (No, I still don't have a type.) Because magic is forbidden in Camelot, she's only told one other person about what she can do, and she doesn't even like admitting it to herself, so she probably won't be open about this when she first gets to Fandom. That said, if you ever need visiony dream things for a plot...well, now I have two characters you can ask. (Yeah, I know.)

This part is important, so it's going out of the cut: Morgana is from the same version of canon as Merlin and Arthur, so she's going to be dying to know what the boys have been up to while they've been apart. Feel free to gossip at her at any time, especially if your characters have good Arthur stories. *cackle*

And then, there's the rest of my people:

Sam Winchester...
  • is from the television show Supernatural.
  • is totally and completely normal, except for the fact that he sometimes has blindingly painful visions of people about to get hurt or killed.
    • ...which are caused by the fact that he was fed demon blood as a child and he still has it in him.
    • ...and the demon blood means that someday, if he kills all the other kids like him, he'll get to be the boy king of hell and bring on the apocalypse.
  • doesn't want to be the boy king of hell, at least not yet.
  • is a gigantic geek who loves books and can read multiple languages only spoken by dead people.
  • grew up hunting ghosts, demons, and all the other evil things out there, although being in Fandom has taught him that sometimes, demons can be good too.
  • is not going to be helped by that knowledge when the whole boy king thing happens for him.
  • is quite tall, about 6'2" right now.
  • is totally going to marry Peter Petrelli someday TAKE THAT, CHUCK.

Jess Mariano...
  • is from the television show Gilmore Girls.
  • is graduating, woe.
  • has probably read everything in your parents' library, unless you're not from this planet.
  • gets along much, much better with girls than with guys.
  • is still in love with Rory Gilmore, oops.
  • hates Anakin Skywalker, even though he married a different version of Rory. It's the principle of the thing.
  • is still not used to being called "Peter" and is not looking forward to newbie confusion. *cackle*

Éowyn...
  • is mostly from the movie version of Lord of the Rings, but with some book goodness thrown in too.
  • has a player who really doesn't mind if you don't use the accent, because she has a special program to do it herself, and totally gets that it's extra effort.
  • is not like a blonde Morgana, except for how she likes playing with swords and fighting evil and being a strong woman and shut up I don't have a type.
  • has a horse named Windfola, and can often be found at the stables.
  • is very friendly and will talk to pretty much anyone who starts up a conversation.

Zoe Washburn...
  • is from Firefly/Serenity, and comes from post-movie canon.
  • is the principal of Fandom High.
  • has mellowed out a lot, thanks to years of being grounded and not getting shot at on a weekly basis.
  • is married to John Winchester.
    • ...yes, she's well aware that he's more like Mal than Wash.
    • ...yes, I'm my own stepmother. It really is fun that way.
  • has an almost two-year-old daughter named Grace.
  • can still outshoot pretty much anyone around, and will shoot you if you mess with her family.

Martha Jones...
  • is from the television show Doctor Who. And Torchwood, if we're being exact.
  • runs the Fandom Town Emergency Clinic, but is really here to keep an eye on Fandom for UNIT, a worldwide military organization that deals with paranormal and extraterrestrial threats.
  • really cares more about taking care of the people here than reporting everything to UNIT.
  • misses the Doctor a little bit every day. Sigh.
  • needs to get out to drink more, I'm just saying.

Chloe Sullivan...
  • is from the television show Smallville, except for how I pretty much removed her from canon because the writers hate her and I'm an eternal Fixer of Canon's Problems.
  • will probably be going back to canon soon though, once I figure out how to take the suck out of the current season.
    • ...and by 'suck' I mean 'the love triangle with Doomsday' WHAT THE HELL, WRITERS.
    • is a meteor freak with the ability of empathic healing: when she touches someone, she takes their injury onto her own body, and then heals it.
    • ...yes, it's a terribly mean ability, but it's still better than losing her power and becoming a human super computer because her body's been taken over by Brainiac NO REALLY WHAT THE HELL, WRITERS.
  • is, when she's not visiting Fandom, currently running around the world with her boyfriend Jimmy Olsen, to help Oliver Queen try to take down Lex Luthor. Mmmmm, namedropping.

And then there's me. My name is Katie, and I'm one of the friendly neighborhood admins. I live in Northern Virginia (not to be mistaken for southern Virginia, a.k.a. "Real Virginia") so I'm in the Real Time zone (not to be mistaken for fake time zones such as West Coast and Australian Time). I am online pretty much all the time because my degree is in teaching and looking for a job when school is in session is hard. I can be found on AIM at fireballofkatie and if there's a delay in responding, it just means I'm probably playing WoW on my other computer (For the Alliance!) and my hands are busy at the moment.

ooc: info post, ooc: i don't have a type
