Whither, friendship?

Ya know... in recent days I've come to realize that... even if you're "friends" with someone on 'blog and/or networking sites, and you play various silly online games with them, and when you actually see him or her (irl) every once in a blue moon you exchange pleasantries... and everything in general seems hunky-dory

Although I've been doing permiscuous (spelling???) friending on a website that shall remain nameless, there are two people that I can't bring myself to friend, because they are the very much the types that hold grudges and I suspect they haven't forgiven me for how I wronged them in the past (um, 1992 and 1997, also known as a Really Freaking Long Time Ago).

It's nice to think that time heals all wounds, but I don't think it's that easy.

So, yeah, I know what you mean.
