Why do I feel like the little engine that could?

So I did day one of week 4 today and it kicked my ass. Seriously, I didn't think I was going to be able to do that last 5 minute stretch, but I kept chanting I can do this, I can do this ( Read more... )

I sweat when I run even if it's cold out (like 20 degrees).

I don't think repeating a week is necessarily a loss of progress. You're still working at it.

Good for you for pulling through! My boyfriend and I started week 4 last Friday, and it was difficult. Today, our second day at it, was easier. Take at least a day off and try it again. I think it'll be a bit easier this time.

You know, simply DOING this program is a success. And making it all the way through today - even with difficulty - is quite a tribute to your dedication to the program.

Hey, awesome job! I don't think you will have to go back down to week 3, but you could think about modifying week 3/week 4 to better fit your needs - challenge you but not kill you. I've been modifying week 3 because it's not challenging enough, but week 4 looks like it's going to be difficult - I really don't feel like week 3 is preparing me for week 4.

I'm gonna see how it goes tomorrow, and might just adjust on the fly. Maybe change the last 5 to 2x3 min job/1.5 min walk. We'll see though.
